Bad weekend on the bike

Yesterday, february 11, I started my misery early by going outside for my ride in 14 degree weather. This was alright because I was dressed warmly and it was actually warming up a little to around 32 degrees. Then when I was about 2.5 miles from home my chain snapped and left me to use a scootering motion with one leg on the pedal and the other pushing off the whole way home. Then after I got home I found I needed to replace my rear tire. So I went to the bike shop and got a new chain and that was all of the bad stuff from yesterday. Then today after I get home from chrurch it starts to snow a little, but I decide I'm gonna go for a ride any way. Well, I only made it about 2 miles before I got a flat tire. So I fix it and start on my way again and get a second flat. It turns out that I had a small rock imbedded in my tire that caused the both flats. I fixed my tire and took the rock out but then decided to head home because I was out of tire fixing supplies if any thing else should happen. I got home without any further incident and decided to torture myself even more by riding on the trainer in the basement for a while. I did get 40 miles in this weekend which isn't bad for February but they could have been alot nicer miles. I'm still waiting on my Cannondale R5000 to arrive. It is set to be in at the begginging of next month. I currently have only 1852 miles on my specialized and don't want to trade it in until I hit 2000 miles so I better get on the ball next weekend.
